During Mass at St. Gabriel the Archangel Church in Hopkins, Minnesota, Fr. Brent Bowman was overcome with emotion while consecrating the chalice.
He later described receiving an "experiential knowledge" of Christ’s Blood shed for us and said he could barely lift the chalice.
Bitter sweet season for us with allergies/rhinitis. The air is reeling with nature's sweet floral scents and pollen. To go out and enjoy them on citrizine is the goal. Perfect weather for a walk 💐🌸

My little sister had her kukyala two months ago, she dropped this video in the family WhatsApp group and immediately exited.
The aunties in there are fuming! 🙌🏼😂
Kimi's CEO walked on stage, opened his laptop, and shipped a full app solo in 11 minutes using K3.
His line: "You used to need a team, a budget, and months. Now you need a weekend and a $15 plan."
Every excuse for not building just got repriced to the cost of a lunch.
The barrier isn't money anymore. It isn't technical skill. It isn't hiring.
Today, July 24, we celebrate the Feast of St. Charbel Makhlouf, OLM, Maronite Catholic priest, monk, and hermit known for working miracles both during his life and after his death.
St. Charbel is the patron saint of those who suffer in body and soul. We all suffer in life. If you are in need of a prayer or a miracle in your life, this is the saint that can assist you with his powerful intercession.
St. Charbel is the saint who performs the most miracles, and not only for Christians. Indeed, people from all over the world come to Anaya, and many Muslims also come to pray to him. Since his death, more than 29,000 miracles have been attributed to him, of which 10% have benefited unbaptized people. The body of Saint Charbel remained perfectly preserved for many more years(Incorrupt)
St. Charbel is one of the most powerful intercessors we can turn to. On his feast day, let's ask for his prayers over everything going on in our lives. Stay till the end for a special blessing🙏
St. Charbel, pray for us!
I don't know how many of you are looking at the other side of AI. Not the models. Not the agents. The hardware underneath all of it.
This one caught my eye.
A German startup called SaxonQ just commercially launched a 512-qubit quantum computer. That runs at room temperature. Just a server rack and a normal wall outlet.
The chip is made from diamonds. Actual synthetic diamonds.
Here's why that matters for AI:
→ Current quantum computers need to operate near absolute zero. That's colder than outer space. It costs a fortune just to keep them running.
→ SaxonQ figured out how to use nitrogen-vacancy centers in diamonds to do the same thing at room temperature
→ Their systems claim 6x to 10x better energy efficiency than GPU clusters running the same workloads
→ They boosted diamond qubit production yield from 1-10% industry average to over 85% using a patented sulfur process
→ Compatible with Qiskit and OpenQASM. Meaning it plugs into existing AI workflows today.
Now here's where it gets interesting for AI labs specifically.
The two biggest problems in AI right now are cost and energy. Training and running large models is brutally expensive and power hungry.
If even a slice of that workload can be offloaded to quantum hardware at 6-10x better efficiency, the economics of building AI change.
SaxonQ has already deployed smaller systems at the German Aerospace Center and Fraunhofer IWU for real industrial work. This isn't vaporware.
SXQ128 ships in 3 months. SXQ512 in Q2 2027.
We talk a lot about which model is better. Not enough about what the next layer of hardware makes possible.
The chip race just got a new player. And it's made of diamonds.
Titration is the precise analytical chemistry technique used to determine the unknown concentration of a solution by gradually adding a second solution of known concentration until a measurable reaction endpoint is reached.
Scott Hahn: “The ‘New Testament’ was a SACRAMENT—the Eucharist—before it became a DOCUMENT—ACCORDING TO THE DOCUMENT. Jesus said ‘Do this’—not ‘Write this’. My own study made me see the only way I could really be a New Testament Christian is by becoming a Eucharistic Catholic.”
Lots of talk on here today about priests who say they won’t preach about Hell.
And then there’s Father Daniel Klimek, one of the greatest priests in America right now, preaching the truth of Hell and knowing its importance. This was from his homily just yesterday. 🙏
More Excommunication Updates:
The Vatican has now sent detailed instructions to bishops worldwide outlining how priests and lay faithful who choose to leave the SSPX can return to full communion with the Catholic Church even though they still want to maintain Traditional Latin Mass.
For SSPX priests looking forward to returning to Rome:
1. They must accept:
– the authority of the Pope;
– the teachings of the second Vatican council;
– the Church's Magisterium as explained in Lumen Gentium 25;
– the validity and legitimacy of the Novus Ordo Missae (Mass of St. Paul VI);
– and the current Code of Canon Law.
2. They must find a diocesan bishop or another competent Ordinary willing to receive them ad experimentum (on a probationary basis).
3. They must write a personal, handwritten letter to the Holy Father requesting the remission of the censures they incurred.
4. They must submit their priestly ordination certificate.
5. They must sign and submit the Profession of Faith and the Formula of Adherence, pledging fidelity to the Pope and undertaking not to publicly oppose his Magisterium.
6. They may remain attached to the Traditional Latin Mass. Acceptance of Vatican II and the legitimacy of the Novus Ordo does not require abandoning the ancient Roman Rite.
7. Once approved by the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, they will undergo a probationary period of one to three years, after which they may be permanently incardinated into a diocese or institute.
FOR THE LAY FAITHFUL:
- The Vatican says penalties are not presumed automatically. Each person's responsibility is to be assessed individually.
- Those who formally belonged to the SSPX or knowingly embraced its doctrinal positions must present a signed Profession of Faith and Formula of Adherence to their local bishop.
- They must formally profess the Catholic faith and obedience to the Pope and the Catholic hierarchy.
- Once this is done, the local bishop will receive them back into full communion in the manner he considers appropriate.
The Vatican's message is unmistakable: although the schismatic act has resulted in canonical penalties, the door to repentance, reconciliation, and full communion with the Catholic Church remains open for every priest and lay faithful willing to return.
