@MelissaReddy_ This is just how itโs expected to happen. In corporate circles, you never admit youโre wrong. You keep lying. Thatโs how Gianni has learnt to work. Little wonder his beloved Italy isnโt represented; he doesnโt care one iota.
@BRICSinfo@mytradesignals These are double standards.
The day the Russians wake up and create their own tournament welcoming the rest of the world is when FIFA will wake up.
This is a deliberate attack on the Iranians.
What an absolute disgrace. A FIFA-certified referee being denied entry to the United States purely because he is Somali.
The World Cup is meant to bring people together. This is racism, plain and simple. Shameful.

@malonebarry@sarnchos Imagine how bad this is for Omar.
He would have been the first in his country to referee at the World Cup, one of the 52 chosen referees in the world. If that doesnโt change his fortunes, now he is left to wonder what it would have been.
The US used to be the land of dreams.

And every health worker whose name is not written here, but whose sacrifice Uganda must never forget.
This Heroes Day, we bow in honour of those who gave their lives in the line of duty, shielding our people from Ebola, Covid 19, and other deadly diseases.
Because they stood in danger, many still live. Families survived. Communities endured. Uganda still stands.
To the fallen, we remember you with gratitude.
To those still serving, healing, risking, and answering dutyโs call, we offer our deepest salute.
May this day remind us that health service is sacred work, often carried by ordinary people who choose extraordinary courage.
Uganda lives because some gave everything, and others still do.
Physicians are not burned out because medicine is hard.
Medicine has always been hard. That is not new.
We are burned out because the things making it harder have nothing to do with medicine.
Fix the system. Keep the physicians.
@jaybug1313@iam_igumira We will treat all this as speculation/assumptions. The one truth we know is that the boss wasnโt right to record him in that state. Were he to sue, he would be due compensation.
