2 big things: 1. I got offered a data analyst job (hype), and 2. My wife got offered a lecturer position at ASU. All on top of adding the new dog to the fan. Big day.

Found this sweet dog abandoned in a bush at Papago Park. No chip or tags. Awful stuff. Breaks my heart. Going to take good care of her, though.

@jayhastings79 (2/2) Also - the dog wasn't near any path/trail that would indicate she wandered off. We posted on Nextdoor and other relevant apps and wasn't getting any hits. In a perfect world I hope no one would do such a thing do a dog like this... But sadly that's not the world we live in.

@jayhastings79 It's hard to tell from the photos/video but she's *very* thin. Under fed for sure.

The bush we found her in was on the side of the road. It almost looked like someone stopped the car, let her out, and drove away. She had a leash in very poor shape.

@hoff_phd We are going to. Made posts on Nextdoor, no chips, tags, etc. We have the ability to take on a second dog and it's the right thing to do. She's sweet as can be. She needs a good home. Very dehydrated and needs lots of food.
