@dobro_the When I called, I said Pass Me By and he said that was his 2nd, so I figured You Always Come Back (To Hurting Me) and got it! I didn't name his hit, but did meet him on several occasions. Real nice guy to me.

@kteltowers I seem to hang on to a lot of things, and figure out what to do with them later! I met Johnny several times, even recorded my All That American Night record at Fry Pharmacy Studio in Nashville in part because he had recorded there!

@tevordoley22 The show I mentioned in Saginaw was with Johnny and Freddy, and Freddy had a pick-up band that opened with Pick Up The Pieces by Average White Band. They proceeded to slaughter Before The Next Teardrop, but Freddy sang beautifully despite it all!

@kteltowers @FinnHuckster I may have mentioned it before, but I met Marty Robbins at a big show outside Cleveland. He was one of the only big stars who talked to backup bands like us- not only a great singer, but a great guy as well!
