@carleygarner If you go, I highly recommend getting the neoprene socks, and the boots you can rent, and a hiking stick. My son who’s an Eagle Scout tried using regular hiking boots and slipped and fell on a slippery rock onto his tailbone and that was it. I only got about 3/4 of the way in.

Being present and healthy for your family is important. It is hard at times to care for yourself when your parents and children have serious health issues unexpectedly so you need to stay healthy yourself.
