@TheBrancaShow Uni Admins have a hand in this. They saw an opportunity to exploit kids (often 1st Gen collegiate students) for nearly unlimited funds and encouraged students to max out the available student loans they could access. Then the false demand provided “justification” to pump tuition.
@GrayConnolly This is a hack article that asked 1 liberal lunatic to substantiate their own opinion and then extrapolated that answer as a percentage of the general population.
@w3stw3stw3st Legal immigrants; you’re totally correct
America loves immigrants that follow procedure, rule of law, and contribute meaningfully to society.
@DerrickEvans4WV She may also have to pay tax on the $50k loan forgiveness as income…
People against reform have no clue how predatory the collegiate loan industry was 20 years ago. Universities were driving students into maxing out loans because it was free money for the Univerdity.
@arratostada@growlerowl@mariluukkainen That’s literally the point I just made. American states are the equivalent of European countries. So no, I wasn’t acting like Europe is one country.
@joncoopertweets Ah yes, no drama. No BJs in the Oval Office, no 20 yr wars started from a lie, no illegal spying on Americans or killing them with drones, and certainly no runaway staff using the auto pen like a high schooler forging parents’ signature on a permission slip. Yep, no drama at all.
@growlerowl@mariluukkainen It’s hilarious when Europeans visit one city in the US and act like they have experienced America…
It’s the equivalent of going to Turkey and coming back with the conclusion Italian pasta sucks.
@CPG_Tracker@USGA Except players are like seniors at your local club and think if they can’t shoot a course record every day they need to move up a tee box to make it easier
@SenWarren So he should sell off his stock every year to give that money to the govt to waste? How many years of selling off before he loses control of his own company? And who buys the stock at that rate? You’re essentially proposing a govt corporate takeover over 20 years. Be honest.
