It doesn't matter whether you call it an ETH pivot or ETH reprioritization — the point is, Ethereum must stay decentralized. A node should run on any device: desktop, mobile, smartwatch, smart glasses, even a fridge or a washing machine. Solana is a stillborn crypto blockchain project — it's inherently programmed for centralization. The final destination of Solana is basically a MySQL database running on a single powerful server. If they don’t make a “pivot,” then Solana is useless — just a temporary phenomenon, an experiment.

People say that the problem for developers is that it's hard to adapt applications for Ethereum — it's expensive and slow. But in reality, that's just a temporary issue. A developer needs to understand that the main benefit — or motivation — for building on a blockchain is the ability to earn revenue without third parties, in a reliable and unstoppable way.

Only a truly decentralized infrastructure can provide that.
