Yes #TukoKadi, and we encourage as many eligible voters as possible to get on board and have their say in our next general elections. Kazi nyingine muhimu ni kuelewa mandate ya the 6 elective positions before we cast a vote๐งต
So what does the constitution say?
We have prepared these simple infographics to unpack the respective roles of Members of Parliament (Single Member Constituencies, Woman Representatives, Senators), Members of County Assemblies (MCAs), Governors and the President. Through these infographics, we hope you can understand the distinct and separate roles assigned to each leadership position and how they relate to each other for cohesive governance.
Our national Parliament is a bicameral Parliament meaning it has two distinct chambers namely, the National Assembly and the Senate.
In the National Assembly, there are 290 single constituency representatives, 47 woman representatives and 12 nominated members. The Senate consists of 47 elected Senators representing each county and 20 nominated Senators.

Despite its value, about 50% of Kenyaโs camel milk is wasted due to high postharvest losses. Poor hygiene, lack of potable water, inadequate cleaning, and limited camel health management skills make much of the milk unfit for consumption or processing.
Did you know that Kenya is the worldโs leading producer of camel milk, with an annual production of approximately 1.165 million tonnes, surpassing countries like Somalia and Saudi Arabia?

Yearly, Africa is losing billions of dollarsโspent by belligerents to fund wars, by donors and partners to facilitate humanitarian assistance, and by governments to rebuild the damaged infrastructure
If we want to compete on a global scale, peace must be at the center of our agenda.
Last evening, I joined Heads of State and Government at the AU Peace and Security Council to chart the path forward for peace on the continent, with a specific focus on Sudan. IGAD calls on the two warring parties in Sudan to prioritize the Sudanese people and end this war.
Niaje wasee! ๐ค Unaskia CFSP (County Fiscal Strategy Paper) na unashangaa ni nini? Easy!
๐น Ni mpango wa gava ya county juu ya budget
๐น Inaonyesha vile doo itaingia na kugawanywa
๐น Inasaidia kuhakikisha matumizi ni smart na hakuna ufisadi!
In simple terms, the CFSP is a plan that guides how your county will collect and spend money. It sets priorities, ensures transparency, and keeps the budget on track. Without it, county spending would be a mess!
Bila CFSP, budget ya county ni kama gari bila steering! ๐๐จ
Sasa swali ni moja, county yenu inapeleka mble ama iko na puncture? ๐๐ฐ Umecheki CFSP ya county yenu?
