SB150 was passed in violation of the Equal Protection Clause, and Due Process Clause, and it impedes access to LIFE-SAVING medical resources. I am disappointed but not surprised by the misuse of TAXPAYER FUNDS to knowingly force this unconstitutional “Law” through #TransRights
Hi everyone, I have some hard news to share. Chemo didn’t work for me and I’m now in at-home hospice care. I’ve been spending a lot of time with family & friends and trying to relax. I miss seeing everyone so please reach out if you’d like to visit. Power to the people!
We are deeply saddened to learn the cause of death of Olympic medalist and world champion sprinter, Tori Bowie.
Black women die at exceedingly higher rates due to pregnancy-related complications. We face a much higher risk of maternal death due to various reasons including chronic stress and implicit bias from health care providers. There is so much work to be done to properly protect and advocate for Black women's health. We send continued love and condolences to Tori Bowie's family. 📷#BETRemembers #BlackWomen #Mortality
Some @JCPSKY schools use borrowed uniforms for their athletes, while others get donations so the eSports team can buy lettermen jackets.

The consent decree doesn’t even touch firing and charging the cops who murdered Breonna Taylor nor does it address root cause issues like charges for Mary Shaw for signing the warrant.
An LMPD officer stopped a woman changing her child’s diaper in a car parked in an alley. He ended up kneeling on her neck.
An off-duty officer chased and pulled a gun on a 17-year-old girl who passed him on the road.
Both remain on the force.

On what would have been Breonna Taylor’s 30th birthday, local and national activists are launching a campaign against AG Daniel Cameron’s gubernatorial run — in part due to his “incompetence and mishandling” of Taylor’s case. #kygov
BREAKING: Washington Post drops bombshell, reveals that Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas’ wife Ginni Thomas was secretly paid almost $100,00 by a wealthy conservative activist who had dealings with the Supreme Court.
But it gets much worse…
According to the report, “Conservative judicial activist Leonard Leo arranged for the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas to be paid tens of thousands of dollars for consulting work just over a decade ago, specifying that her name be left off billing paperwork.”
In January 2012, “Leo instructed the GOP pollster Kellyanne Conway to bill a nonprofit group he advises and use that money to pay Virginia “Ginni” Thomas, the documents show. The same year, the nonprofit, the Judicial Education Project, filed a brief to the Supreme Court in a landmark voting rights case.”
Leo, a key figure in a network of nonprofits that has worked to support the nominations of conservative judges, told Conway that he wanted her to “give” Ginni Thomas “another $25K,” the documents show. He emphasized that the paperwork should have “No mention of Ginni, of course.”

This morning, members of the Kentucky Black Legislative Caucus & several others held a Capitol Rotunda press conference as part of a multi-state show of support for the #Tennessee3 legislators who were punished for speaking out against gun violence in their legislative chamber.
