Made Preseason #D1Baseball Under the Radar Predictions for hitters in this year's #MLBDraft. Went 2 for 5. If you want to see my rationale, click on the link below. Like I've said before, hope to make predictions again next year & years to come! https://t.co/KhXcagy85c
I will not be posting new content for the 2026 season & beyond. Simply do not have the same spare time that allowed me to produce (what I thought was) quality work. I'll still keep my formulas & leaderboards up on my website if you want to check it out. Thank you for the support!
5) Non-C/SS/CF Young Junior
San Diego State LF Adam Magpoc
Speedy switch hitting utility type who led the Cape in SB last year. Walks @ at above average rate & could carve out a nice role in pro ball
Player Comp: Less productive Dylan Campbell (#LetsGoDodgers 2023 4th Rd)
Starting a ๐งตon #D1Baseball hitters I like going into the 2026 season. These hitters are not MLB Pipeline Top 100 (as of January 5th), but profile as #MLBDraft26 Day 2 (Rounds 4-20) selections. New this year are archetypes based on my ratings going back to 2022. Here they are! ๐ฝ
4) Junior CF
Oklahoma Jason Walk
Toolsy switch hitting CF who has a well-rounded offensive profile paired w/ wheels. With added upper body muscle, Walk could turn into an absolute monster.
Comp: A more productive Eddie King Jr. (#LetsGoBucs 2025 16th Rd)
My Top 100 College Prospects for the 2026 MLB Draft
Big expansion from 30 to 100 since the first rendition with an hour of reading material. Hope you enjoy!

Working on Full Season #MiLB Heatmaps. Location data is not standardized, but gives you a good idea about where a guy throws. Strike zone is guesstimated based on 2025 data. New #ForTheLou pitching prospect Yhoiker Fajardo is test subject for today
@landonb_bsbl I believe their rankings are a rough aggregation of all MLB Front Office Big Boards. My guess is that enough organizations covet SEC production which boosts Curiel over others
Pretty cool to see Ojeda on the Top 100 #MLBDraft Prospects list for @MLBPipeline (see quoted tweet). 1st ๐ผ๏ธ is a Contact vs. OPS+ scatterplot for last year's #D1Baseball stats. Other 2 ๐ผ๏ธ are Movement plots based on data from last year's Draft Cycle, though less comprehensive
Hitting is usually my domain, but I'll put UC Irvine LHP Ricky Ojeda on my 2026 #MLBDraft favorites. Elite extension paired w/ a high ride FB. Great #D1Baseball track record to pair with 3 2/3 scoreless innings for USA College team against Japan in summer. Young for a 2026 Junior
Expanded #MiLB leaderboards by reducing PA threshold from 350 to 300. Here are some Power/Speed scatterplots of SS & CF who wouldn't have qualified for the old leaderboard. Reminder you can use these interactive scatterplots (& interactive table) here ๐https://t.co/pAWfQrW4k8
Cool #MiLB scatterplot to showing relationship between contact & OPS+ among SS in A+ (age 21 or younger). Names like Konnor Griffin, Jackson Holliday, Elly De La Cruz, etc. are standouts. A player comparison example: Franklin Arias -> Jackson Merrill w/ less production. Thoughts?
As we continue to showcase our Next Gen Oyster Model, take a look at this comparison between two toolshed prospects! We love them both, but De Vries has shown an improved ability to tap into his raw power. Check out our piece on the new model:

More visualization improvements coming, this time in the filter department. My idea is interchangeable X/Y axis for scatterplots. Right now, you can only do HIT vs. RUN tool comparison. This update will allow any rating to be compared (examples below). Let me know what you think!
Pretty cool to see my early coverage of a new Silver Slugger award winner! Predictions/projections are super difficult for #MiLB players with how long they take to come true (or not). I've certainly got plenty wrong (and will continue to do so), but it's nice to celebrate this W
Hunter Goodman hitting absolute ๐ฃ at the A level. His 99 projected HRPWR is tied with Ezequiel Tovar for best in Rockies farm system. Also earned a 99.6 HRPWR rating in college last year. Keep an eye on this guy! #Rockies
Expanded #D1Baseball Leaderboards back to 2022 & having fun messing w/ data. Below are Soph SS who were not #MLBDraft eligible that season.
1) Jacob Wilson was insane
2) Roch Cholowsky has 2nd best HIT tool
3) Alex Alicea has best RUN tool
Pretty cool past/present comparisons!
Trying to improve content & visualizations might be it!
1st ๐ผ๏ธ: MLB Pipeline's Top 100
2nd ๐ผ๏ธ: 2025 #MLBDraft Top 5 Round Picks
3rd ๐ผ๏ธ: #MLBDraft26 & '27 SS Prospects
All graphs are interactive & available via link below, so let me know what you think!

@CleGuardPro@CleGuardians Excited for 2026 MiLB #GuardsBall, especially 2025 70th pick RHP Will Hynes. Using publicly available Statcast data, he's a movement outlier among fellow RHP teenagers who avg 90+ MPH on their Sinkers during the 2025 #MLBDraft cycle. Won't even be 19 until mid-July, crazy upside!
