🚨 The DA is taking the ANC government to court on 11 September for load-shedding and the electricity tariff hike of over 30%.
The failure to prevent the energy crisis must be declared inconsistent with the Constitution and the price hike declared invalid.

💙The DA has launched a policy to protect social grants from ANC corruption as 17 million citizens are at risk.
The policy will increase and extend child grants to pregnant mothers. While these are never an adequate substitute for job creation, they shield citizens from poverty.
📺[WATCH] Ramaphosa is the conman who quit on SA!
“The "New Dawn" was a deceitful campaign as his presidency has been filled with empty promises, from ending poverty and fighting corruption to ending #loadshedding and tackling crime. SA deserves real leadership.”- @jsteenhuisen
The DA in Steve Tshwete is concerned with the municipality’s lethargic approach in dealing load-shedding.
This comes after a council resolution was taken in February that the municipality will be responsible for its own implementation of load-shedding as per Eskom’s schedule.
