@sakebu_cheese_ Politeness is generally implied, the best way to have a successful conversation is to study idioms, I once saw someone from the east hear the phrase "you scared me half to death" which in english is an idiom meaning "you have me a big fright" and it was taken as an curse somehow.

@sakebu_cheese_ I am Australian however both America and Us have similar systems. We have mainly just Mr. (Mister) And Mrs. (Missus). Both referring to a Man and a Woman respectively.
There is another one, Miss which unlike Mrs which refers to a young woman who isn't married.
