I was born in @MKHospital 31 years ago and have always loved it here! No matter where you go you’re surrounded by greenery, and it’s constantly evolving as a place to live. I mean, we have little robots on the streets! #LoveMK#MiltonKeynes@StarshipRobots
I wish it were possible for Maddy to know how completely wrong her logic is despite landing on an actual traitor. If she gets Wilfred revealed then she’s going to be insufferable and it’s UNEARNED #TheTraitors
@victoriajane6 I cancelled mine five years ago as I don’t watch live TV or use iplayer at all. They initially send a few letters trying to guilt you into paying but I phoned up and complained that about being hassled, and they stopped. Now I just reconfirm every two years.
@bradwellcommon I wouldn’t make that argument. The NHS does provide transport for people who can’t make their own arrangements: ambulances, and PTS for non-emergencies.
I find it hard to believe people would stay longer if there wasn’t a charge - what reason would there be to hang about?
I am so angry for Lauren. She’s a brilliant councillor and a wonderful person. To block such a strong local campaigner from the selection process is unforgivable behaviour.
Last night I was given the devastating news that I am being blocked from standing to be Milton Keynes North’s next Labour candidate & MP.
Thank you to all those who supported & helped on my campaign. I feel crushed & will now be taking some time off to process.
Full statement:
I miss the 6ft rule. A couple booked the seats directly next to me at the movies this evening. Screen was maybe half full. I should be able to report this to someone.
If there’s one positive thing to come out of social distancing, it’s that it’s now basically illegal for someone to book the seat next to me in an otherwise empty row at the cinema.
I’m part exchanging my car this week and I feel genuinely bad about it, as though my car is an old dog that will wait faithfully at the edge of the lot, not understanding where I’ve gone or why I don’t come back for it.
I made an impromptu trip to the cinema today, on a Saturday afternoon when ticket prices were also temporarily reduced, and it was like a preview for hell itself.
@AkashNayee Ah I thought we might be in the same screening 😂 they were great weren’t they! I like the intro by the Daniels as well, really set the tone.
I didn’t hate Persuasion, it was more beige than anything, but you can’t have Anne casually describe William as a 10 and then a scene later be saying she “doesn’t care for macarons”. It’s jarring. Commit to a tone.
@bradwellcommon I don’t know what GBR is going to look like so maybe this isn’t helpful, but the Quadrant building isn’t the headquarters of Network Rail. The HQ is one of the London offices. GBR also having a HQ elsewhere might therefore not be a problem for MK-based staff.
