@godbole_shilpa I was thinking exactly the same. Pune Commissioner said that they have created World Class roads for this event. Why can they not create them for everyone? Who has stopped them? Do they not have funds or simply the will?

Jan 2026 is here (well almost). The Baner Ramp is not yet complete. The Pashan Ramp is nowhere to be seen. When will the grade seperator work for SB road traffic begin? No idea.
Metro till Shivaji nagar - no dates for that too yet.

No Further Delays in Multi-Level Flyover Construction at Pune University Junction will be acceptable.

Today, I conducted an on-site review of the ongoing construction of the multi-level flyover and vehicular ramps at the Pune University Junction. I was joined by representatives from the contractor Tata, PMRDA, PMC, and the Pune City Traffic Police.

Unfortunately, the contractors have not been able to meet the previously set deadlines due to the complexities of the construction and traffic adjustments. However, they have assured me that the ramp and roads from Bremen Circle towards Agriculture College at the University Junction will be opened by April. Additionally, the two main ramps connecting Aundh and Baner to Ganeshkhind Road are expected to be operational before the monsoon season.

The PMC and PMRDA officials, along with TATA (contractors), have also committed to promptly addressing the haphazard debris and scree on the roads along with the barricades alignments. They will ensure that all roads are pothole-free to facilitate smoother traffic flow. The DCP of Pune Traffic has assured me of increased police presence and more efficient traffic management.

I have reiterated that I will be strictly monitoring the situation and that the extended deadlines are the final buffer. No further delays will be tolerated. The congestion and inconvenience caused by this construction have been significant, but I am confident that in the coming months, this flyover will greatly ease traffic flow at this crucial junction and entry point of Pune city.

The traffic signal opposite Anand Nagar on Paud Road has been completely captured by the Ganpati Mandal in last 4-5 years with blessings from the MoS civil aviation. The brazenness this year has reached new heights

@PMCPune रोज संध्याकाळी नळस्टॉप च्या चौका अलीकडे महिंद्रा शो रूम च्या अलीकडे एक सीमेंट मिक्सर बिनदिक्कत उभा असतो. त्याने एक लेन अडवलेली असते. पण तो पोलिसांना कधीच दिसत नाही. निदान गर्दी च्या वेळा टाळून ही कामं करावीत ही किमान गोष्ट पाळली जाते की नाही ह्या कडे तरी लक्ष द्या.
