13 lbs frm a healthy BMI & 17 lbs frm my goal. May this B the last time I go on this weight loss journey. Praying 2 finally maintain & not rebound back up. Food addiction, compulsive eating &binge eating R a b@tch. Meat based puts it all in remission until I touch sugar/carbs🥲
@DoctorTro Dang Doc. You got me and made me nervous. My CAC 3 years ago was zero, but a recent abdominal CT showed I had atherosclerosis in my aorta. I will be 46 in April and an MRI in November 2025 did not show these findings. I am bummed. I am very happy for you though. That is awesome
The carnivore community keeps growing stronger. Huge congratulations to Jenny Mitich on her new book! It’s packed with helpful sections on transitioning to carnivore, troubleshooting, what labs to focus on, and answers to the most common questions. And the 80 recipes look incredible. Honored to be part of a movement filled with people who genuinely care about helping others heal.

Yes, obviously zero carb doesn’t work! I mean, that’s what all the “experts” say right?
“ Your body needs carbs for energy”.
“Low carb diets wreck your metabolism”.
“You can’t get fiber without carbs, and that will ruin your gut”!
“It’s all water weight”!
When in reality, I went zero-carb Carnivore eight months ago. I’ve lost 111 pounds, reversed type 2 diabetes, stabilized my blood pressure, healed my metabolism, balanced my hormones, and reversed insulin resistance, depression, and anxiety.
I have more energy than I’ve had in decades. My gut runs like clockwork. My digestion isn’t just better—it’s healing.
It’s funny because none of the so-called “experts” ever seem to factor in real-life experiences. They ignore the tens of thousands, maybe even millions, of people who are healing themselves without doctors, without meds, and without carbs.
I’m not saying carbs are evil. I’d never say that. But for me, creating an environment without carbohydrates, where nothing could interfere or cause damage, let the nutrients I was eating actually do their job.
And it’s wild how all those “chronic conditions” disappear once you remove the bullshit.
I will continue to prove them wrong 👑
@alanroberts I don't even get it. Even if you believed there were little to no side effects, the efficacy of said gene therapy barely exists. What's the point?
@BruceLangworthy@CaryKelly11@popeyecubs68 There recipes for butter mayo and bacon grease mayo 🤷🏻♀️ I heard they are good, but I am too lazy to try and too cheap/broke to buy an emulsion blender or throw it out if it sucks 🤣
@txsalth2o I am assuming ulcerative colitis is 100 times worse, but eating on a keto-carnivore spectrum has reduced my debilitating IBS-D about 99%. The instant I mess up my gut is a mess again.
Amen. That's my intention. I do what I can afford. Keto or carnivore with cheaper meats will always be better than 4 pints daily of icecream, all 3 of my very large meals along with snacks and candy 🤷🏻♀️
Not everyone can afford tallow candles, grass-fed lip balm, and a ribeye subscription box delivered on the back of a yak.
And that’s okay. Eat your supermarket beef and chill. 🙃
Sometimes you just need someone to hold you and tell you that supermarket beef is perfectly fine if you can't afford panda-massaged generationally-pastured beef.
