Today I got a special care package of self-quarantine supplies from the S. Korean government. This doesn't just include masks and hand sanitizers, but foods and health supplements so that I don't need to leave home for supplies. Love this feeling being cared for by my country!
Today marks the 70th anniversary of the start of the Korean War, a war that technically is still ongoing. We remember the hundreds of thousands of troops and millions of civilians who lost their lives in the name of peace and democracy.

@janschakowsky Thank you for voicing to support Korea peace! We Korean-Americans call for a formal end to this America's oldest war and the signing of a peace treaty. We greatly appreciate you have cosponsored H.Res 152.
After 70 years, the Korean War continues to fuel tensions on the peninsula and keep thousands of family members separated. I’m proud to co-sponsor H.Res 152 to formally end this conflict & move toward peace, healing, & reunification for the families torn apart by this war.
@RepPressley Thank you for co-sponsoring H.Res 152! The root cause of militarism and tensions on the Korean Peninsula is the continued state of war between the US and North Korea. To get to denuclearization, we must formally end the Korean War. #70YearsStillWar#KoreaPeaceNow
@RepPressley Thank you @RepPressley for cosponsoring H. Res 152! Your support means a lot to the Korean Americans and Korean people, especially separated families by the war and the schism. Yes! Now is the time to end this 70 year war!

There is no North Korea we know of! This is the way the citizens in Pyongyang, N. Korea enjoy their leisure time at the water park. Went there four days ago. #MoonsuWaterpark@Pyongyang

66 yrs ago today, the UN signed an Armistice with North Korea to end hostilities in the Korean war. This was an important step, but it was never intended to be a final agreement. That’s why I introduced H.Res.152 to formally end the Korean War and stop yet another endless war.
For Biden and other Democratic candidates for president, going after Trump on North Korea from the right is a really stupid idea. They also ignore South Korea's agency in the origins and outcome of the Trump-Kim talks. Sanders alone is playing it smart. https://t.co/wGwMGgAvrQ

@benjaminaengel That "peace means war" argument is clearly besides the point today. Both Koreas want a peace agreement, and the US is denying it. NK is not asking for a withdrawal of troops now, and can be adequately deterred by the alliance. SK alone has a military budget larger than NK's GDP.
