@mfrick100 @NYCTSubway Surely! I can't imagine the mental anguish of one who chooses to go that way! Fortunately, I've never experienced it in 11.5 yrs as a Train Operator, but, I know many who have, some multiple times & it's haunting to replay those images in their heads over and over

People are sleeping in tunnels, ppl are surfing, and people are also in between cars, some honestly changing cars, others using the bathroom or doing drugs and meet their demise that way

I recently encountered someone sitting on the edge of the platform, feet dangling, looking me in my eyes as he wanted me to end his life! I was able to stop in time
