@DKThomp We need more analysis of this edu gap. Why do progressive pols resonate so much less with non-college voters? Also, as a society, I think we agree education is good. But this gap suggests it's in the interest of moderates/rights to, e.g., keep college unaffordable
@MattZeitlin Think you could already make a case for Giannis. MUCH better defensive player and already has more MVPs and more 1st team All NBAs. He'd have to really fall off a cliff to not be a lock ahead of Dirk imo
@longform This is upsetting, but thanks for curating so many years of great writing! This is a little like when Grantland shuttered, in that I'll now also be typing "longform" into my search bar and then sadly deleting it for the rest of my life
@JesseDavidFox@aeaglin@jaxxonhoward@fsgbooks Yep, i left book publishing a while back. Now i get to look forward to reading your book as a regular member of the reading public. Can’t wait!!
@SDBedford@Steven_Hyden Was born in '89, and definitely feel like Deerhunter was a hugely important indie rock band in my college days. Also remember Atlas Sound being a thing and having hyperbolic conversations about Bradford Cox being the greatest musician alive
@thepressboxpod@bryancurtis what are your takes on signers lining up to put their names on a vaguely anti-culture-war letter like it's the declaration of independence?
MESSY author @TimHarford's exciting new @pushkinpods podcast Cautionary Tales launched today! For the first two episodes, listen here: https://t.co/q91UDuvKlc
@Steven_Hyden Having not spent that much time with their latest yet, I think one could make a case for all four albums being Best Big Thief... which is wild
