@PhilMccoxwell @krassenstein It's ironic, in that Quebec is home to corruption so bad that numerous gov't inquiries have been called. Some had to be stopped after reporters and witnesses were killed. The biggest bribery scandal in Canada involved SNC-Lavalin, a Quebec firm.

@Brian_stone_9 I worked for a number of restaurants in Toronto in the 70s and 80s. At every single one, any server who complained directly to a customer about a tip would be terminated. I expected 10% as a minimum, hoped for 15%, happy with anything more. This 30-40% stuff is ridiculous.
