@AdequateEmily Yeah, while I get that having a facade of it being potentially "real" can make something feel scarier (even implicitly), I'd much rather not hear people ask "HOW DID THEY RECORD THIS IN-UNIVERSE" every 5 seconds.
@Dreamboum Damn I didn't know that story... FFX is one of my favorite soundtracks, but X-2 really grew on me as I played it. This track in particular is gorgeous.
@bbqdbrains@BethanyCoast Not to sound opportunistic, but I've been listing to your album a lot lately and I really enjoy it. I love how you take your 90s influences into something that feels really personal. And it rules that you got Jimmy Chamberlin to play on it
@martin_carr I'm a little bummed I didn't somehow see this until now, but regardless, thank you for such an incredible album. My mind gets blown every time I listen to it!
@thenoisefm I get just not liking the film, but the outright dismissals that seem to happen always bum me out. The director and crew really made something stylistically unique and interesting with very little budget.
@thenoisefm Haha yeah that is wild. Skinamarink just seems to have that effect on some people. Everyone I've recommended it to has either loved it or hated it, with seemingly no way of predicting which one it'll be.
@thenoisefm I saw Skinamarink at Burbank AMC 16. Someone yelled "that movie fucking sucked," someone else yelled "I agree," a person behind me kept saying "I've gotta figure this one out man," and his friend said "I don't think this is a movie you can figure out man."
I loved it though!
