@Ajarncom Need to be plugged in to run the aircon over night, gonna be hot in there. Think have to be really acclimated to the climate or just end up in cheap hotel rooms anyway.
@juniebegood2me@DrEdwinMPH@MichaelPetrilli Don't think he means it as in remedial, but first year calculus, physics, and engineering. The intro courses for science and engineering majors. Many graded on a strict curve so like the bottom 30% get D/Fs and you retake the course or change major. Weeder courses
@hispanicnomad Every big city has Thai language classes, its actually not that hard to learn, but most expats put zero effort in. Everything becomes so much better if you learn to speak.
@roland36456@hispanicnomad It's cool in December and January at night. Can get down to 10-15C, and in the mountains it can go lower. It will still always be warm in the afternoon
@JasonWilde108 The things we encounter are likely locally produced drones, that they don't really care about, not the actual ships that are crossing the stars.
@viragthakkar@CleansedTweets Those TAT numbers are garbage, they are generated from interview surveys not actually measured. They choose people they think will give high numbers and people also answer for their family and not per person.
@Austen@exJumon Ukraine is a country that combines sushi and pizza into 1 type of restaurant just so they can have more variety. And the supermarkets have a big variety of ready to eat foods. Never heard anyone say eating different foods is odd when I lived there.
@fazleyff The park near this one, Benjakitti, is way better. It's like an urban forest. Overall the city needs more green spaces, but the they have are really good
@KhaosodEnglish There is zero chance they will actually provide foreigners with insurance. Theyll use it to reimburse hospitals for unpaid bills at most. Instead of punishing everyone, force people to pay their hospital bills or imprison them
@jacobincambodia So many of the natural areas are covered in trash, but that doesn't show up in statistics. There also aren't any air quality sensors in the areas with heavy burning.
@PersonalThai Chinese like to load up on products to resell at home, or for gifts. If you got small convenience store its a nice little earner and helps pay for the trip. They also like to load up on cosmetics.
@BrianRoemmele This is the only thing that keeps them in line, traffic was absolute chaos precovid. Honking non stop and clogged intersections during rush hour since people wouldn't obey the lights. Intersections couldnt clear because of selfish behavior
@HumansNoContext This isn't really in Bangkok. It's in a small town 70km away. They keep the market like this as a tourist attraction. There's plenty of space nearby, but then no one would take the train to their market
