2050 Putrajaya Draft Structure Plan has just released! The document will guide urban planning in Putrajaya over the next 25 years.
- New development slogan: "Putrajaya Visionari Pintar"
- 7 new policy themes, with 23 policies, 63 strategies
Putrajayans should provide feedback..
All those complaining how RapidKL is losing money.
Fine the heck out of those cars and use it as revenue for RapidKL la. Use camera to monitor and issue fines. Arrest them if needed, or even impound the cars.
Lining up is good an all but the weird boarding setup away from the bus stop at Avenue K/Opp KLCC is caused by constant illegal parking in the bus bay, which forces buses to instead stop further ahead which blocks the rear doors and its ramp for wheelchair/pram access
Over 300 lining up for the first screening of THE AMAZING DIGITAL CIRCUS: THE LAST ACT in a theatre in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.
The movie gets its first premiere in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines, at 10/11pm GMT +7 and +8 time respectively.
Not even a single announcement about regular screenings, and all the regular screenings are outside the Klang Valley. The fan screenings at 11pm for a higher price was understandable. Why are y'all still only doing fan screenings on 5-6 June rip
The fact that they're still releasing ONLY RM65 fan screenings in the Klang Valley, despite stating the official release will be tomorrow is passive evil energy
Tomorrow, Pomni, Ragatha, Gangle, Zooble, Kinger and the rest of the circus crew are heading to the big screen! ๐ฌโจ

@luxentX (wished it was the people in the refugee NGOs themselves talking about this and addressing people's concern and the disinformation though but most if not all of them don't have PR people, and key people say they don't have time for this which is stabbing them in the foot slowly)
@luxentX It's a populist sentiment but the refugee population has already hit 200k in Malaysia and 1m in Bangladesh and still growing despite both countries not having any refugee laws nor integration framework (and we know what Bangladesh has done to separate em)
@talldarkfat@luxentX sbb orang Myanmar memang dah bakar dan bunuh mereka sejak 2016, propaganda media sosial dari tentera junta di Burma turut influence sesetengah rakyat mereka
@HareshDeol Um actually-moment here ๐ค but on point 1, KLCC Park in particular isn't publicly owned, so technically enforcement of rules is under KLCC management..
@iamjoelee@arjunmohanwho Also yeah I think they deactivated their page. I'm just afraid of disinfomation patterns I've seen the past 6 years. My interactions with refugee societies here in Malaysia has been different to the one shared on social media, but their poor at doing PR
The Rohingya Solidarity Network Malaysia (RSNM) page is at: https://t.co/ZICz7M6PGs
It rebranded from Rohingya Youths in Malaysia and has ~884 likes. Facebook heavily limits visibility and search reach on posts touching sensitive refugee rights or policy critiques in Malaysia โ that's why it (and the specific screenshot post) doesn't surface easily without the direct link or while logged in. No deletion, just typical moderation.
@iamjoelee@arjunmohanwho Thanks. I also just found their LinkedIn profile with this, and a Google listing of their FB page.
If that comment is true, I disagree with it. Never heard of this org tbh other than Rohingya Women's Development Network, Geutanyoe, Rohingya Society.. which one represents them?
@iamjoelee@arjunmohanwho Hey @iamjoelee, tried searching up the page in the screenshot and could not find any Facebook page of that name?
Also could not find any videos of any Rohingyan organisations asking for such, although there were videos asking for better treatment in immigration centres
to anyone who lives in the Zone and don't wanna use the emergency train or Gr4b, take the ROD van or shuttle bus to go to your nearest green/yellow line MRT, then plan your alternative journey
@wtstethoscope82@OrangSelangor let's put the race out of the equation though billionaires don't become billionaires without exploiting the heck out of their workers with low wages and long hours
@PGeorge9601@khalidkarim But their bus routes isn't exactly the same as our feeder bus routes. Their bus routes travel through MRT stations AND between housing estates, some end at the CBD, while our feeder buses only travel in a one-way loop from MRT/LRT to serve 1-2 housing areas
