@HipIOTechReview @MastermindTB@QNAP_nas I have backups of my files, so I'm not worried about that. What concerns me is QNAP's response or lack thereof. Rather than pay the ransom, I budgeted that towards a Synology NAS.

@jackhcable@QNAP_nas I only discovered this today. It would have been nice if
QNAP notified me as soon as they became aware. I shut it down immediately when I noticed, which I then learned I'm NOT supposed to do! No important files. Just would like to wipe and start over if it's safe.
