At the heart of this large-scale deployment is the National Coffee Cooperative Union, the umbrella organization for Kenya’s coffee cooperative sector.

The real change Dimitra is driving is the ability to make artificial intelligence work exactly where it’s needed, in places where connectivity, electricity, and devices cannot be taken for granted.

Connected Coffee is mobile-first and works offline: data collected in the field is automatically synced as soon as a signal becomes available.

Every registered farm, every geolocated plot, every compliance report generated represents a real-world use case of the Dimitra Protocol.

This is concrete proof that $DMTR is already on the ground, exactly where global agriculture needs technology the most.

The one million farmers are proof that scale is achievable, and that the path forward has already been laid out.

Kenya's Avocado production has been growing at 15.7% CAGR, with the export volumes at 11.7% annually since 2015. 

This double-digit growth rate has opened numerous opportunities in the sector and we, the younger generation, are industriously working in it.

Earth Day is a useful moment to ask an honest question: in agriculture, how much of what gets said about land is actually supported by data collected from it?

Every Earth Day, the conversation returns to land: its condition, its future, and whether the commitments made around it are being kept. In agriculture, those answers exist in data: farm boundaries mapped by GPS, land use recorded season by season, environmental conditions tracked over time.

That data is already captured as part of how Dimitra runs day to day, not as a separate sustainability layer, but built into normal operations. So when reporting, compliance, or land assessments require it, it's there.

This Earth Day 2026, the most important thing agriculture can do is make that data real, consistent, verifiable, and already in the system before it's needed.

The Africa Carbon Removal Summit #ACRS2026, convened in Nairobi, strategically defines an industry exploding with potential yet feeling the growing pains of maturity.

1. Given the growing number of innovations, Developers have the latitude to expand their scope of work while anchored to National & International laws.
2. The new laws protect ownership while responsibility exists as a balance.
3. Capital aims to derisk investment by aggregating portfolios, meaning smaller implementations fall through the cracks.
4. Policymakers are setting frameworks that the private sector innovates, creating a duopoly of standards.
5. Land-based agricultural projects are dominant, requiring deep infrastructural integration.

It was a pleasure interacting with knowledgeable practitioners across the continent and beyond, discussing the work @dimitratech is working on and how we collaborate.
