@BIM_me_up Hi Lejla, it's a ghost town tbh for AEC. Not sure where all the tech chat has gone. LinkedIn appears to be infested with AI generated content recently it seems.

@Marc_Topaz@kylerosenmeyer@LinusEkenstam Surely, as a graphic artist, you should know first-hand the impact that AI will have on industry. Why shouldn't it be expected in construction as well? Anyone who disagrees is in denial.
@kylerosenmeyer@LinusEkenstam The issue with AR is geo or building positioning, battery life, user comfort and cost per user. There's a place for both XR and Robotics though.
@LinusEkenstam@lomcovaks The construction industry needs this technology. It ensures consistency. I've seen demos of robots marking openings on drywall/partitions as well. This isn't a nice-to-have, it's essential.
@lomcovaks@LinusEkenstam Will your builder work 24 hours straight? If it doesn't already, it's a short step for these to return to a charging dock and for it's buddy to carry on exactly where it left off.
Plus, due to weight, these could be driving on the slab before it's fit for human traffic.
How will cyber security teams of the near future protect themselves from malicious AI agent hackers?
It seems like science fiction, but it's only a matter of time.
