My friend @DebHaalandNM is determined to fight crime, protect New Mexican families and create a future free from gun violence across the state.
Under her leadership, New Mexico families can trust that their governor will lead the fight to save lives. I am proud to endorse her, and canāt wait for her to become the first female Native American governor in our country.
Greg Jackson is a trailblazer in the violence prevention field.
As a survivor of gun violence himself and a pioneer of the first-ever White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention, @GregoryJackson knows exactly what must be done to build a safer DC for all. Weāre proud to endorse him for an at-large seat on the DC City Council.
Iām proud to endorse this slate of courageous leaders.
Asian Americans deserve champions who fight for their safety. With these committed advocates in Congress, the safer future we all deserve is within reach.
Nine years ago, my friend @Sandra4NV survived the horrific 1 October mass shooting in Las Vegas. She knows exactly how urgent Americaās gun violence crisis is, and what our elected leaders should be doing to prevent tragedies like that from ever happening again.
Iām proud to see how she has turned her pain into action, and to endorse her in her election for lieutenant governor in Nevada.
Attorney General @AaronDFordNV has proven that public safety is and will always be a top priority for him.
AG Ford refuses to let gun violence go unaddressed, and has what it takes to hold gun lobbyābacked politicians accountable. Iām proud to endorse him.
Texans need a fighter who isnāt afraid to take on the gun lobby and protect our communities from gun violence. Rep. @JamesTalarico is that fighter, and I am proud to endorse him for the US Senate.
I look forward to working with him to build a safer future for Texas, and for all Americans.
I am proud to endorse this slate of state leaders. Each of these candidates are deeply committed to addressing public safety and refuse to ignore the gun violence epidemic impacting Texas communities.
With them in Austin, Texans will see real change.
Proud to have the support of @GIFFORDS_org in our campaign to defeat MAGA Jim Desmond and protect our communities from gun violence. Iāve taken on the gun lobby and won ā now, weāre going to continue that fight in Congress.
Right now, too many lawmakers in Washington refuse to take action on Americaās gun violence crisis.
Iām proud to endorse these leaders who are stepping up to take back a gun safety majority in the U.S. House and fight for the change we all deserve.
With them in office, progress is possible.
All across the country, state leaders are stepping up to pass lifesaving gun safety laws and protect their communities.Ā
Thatās why weāre proud to endorse these gun safety champions running for state legislatures nationwide. These leaders are ready to build on this progress, stand up to the gun lobby, and put people over politics.
You could feel the energy in tonightās town hall with @Giffords_org for @Mendoza4AZ. Arizona voters are ready for change, and in November, JoAnna Mendoza is going to give it to them.
Tonightās packed town hall with @Giffords_org is proof that Arizonans are tired of leaders like Juan Ciscomani, who's putting the gun lobby's bottom line above public safety.
Thatās why we endorsed @Mendoza4AZ, because sheās running to put the needs of Arizona families first.
šØWe're hosting a town hall with @GIFFORDS_org next week!
Join @Mendoza4AZ, @Tiffany_Muller, and @Emma_S_Brown for a discussion on special interests and their impact on public safety.

First on NOTUS:
Gabby Giffords, a former House Democrat from Arizona, tried to speak with Mike Johnson after a recent mass shooting in his hometown of Shreveport, Louisiana, but he declined. Giffords, who survived her own shooting to become one of the countryās most prominent advocates for gun-violence prevention, reached out to the speaker this week after the horrifying incident.
āI want us to work together to ensure it never happens again. I mourn for your constituents, as I trust you do, and I know there are bipartisan reforms that can save lives,ā Giffords wrote Johnson in a letter dated Wednesday. āI hoped to discuss this with you on the telephone and was disappointed when you declined my request.ā
Johnsonās office did not respond to a request for comment.

From serving our country in uniform to championing commonsense gun safety laws, these leaders have dedicated their careers to keeping our communities safe. Iām grateful to have them as partners in this fight, and Iām proud to endorse them for reelection.
Governor @JBPritzker and @CMitchellforLG have demonstrated a firm commitment to public safety and fighting gun crime in Illinois.
I look forward to continuing to work with them and Iām proud to endorse them in this critical election.
Iām proud to endorse @JulianaStratton for US Senate!
From the state house to statewide office, Lt. Gov. Stratton has proven she will never back down from a fight. I know that in Washington, she will continue to hold the line against the gun lobbyās dangerous agenda and stand up for Illinois families.
Rep. Ciscomani was the deciding vote to pass Trumpās cuts to Medicaidāthe single largest insurer of gunshot patients. He is unfit to serve the people of Arizona.
JoAnna Mendoza is running to unseat him and restore the services millions depend on. https://t.co/nGKrRWlt0x
