A report found Dido Harding’s test and trace system swallowed up “unimaginable” amounts of taxpayers’ money and made little difference on the progress of the pandemic.

Boris Johnson turns 59 on Monday, and Parliament will be debating a scathing report that concluded he had lied to the legislative body when trying to explain away that same party.

Ian Blackford brilliantly hitting the nails in Johnson's coffin squarely and firmly on the head.
Tory MPs KNEW he was dishonest — HOW could they have inflicted him as PM on the nation?
They all colluded and they are all responsible.

So in summary, Boris Johnson's resignation 'honours' list included:
- Spin doctors who lied about the lockdown-breaking parties
- Officials who organised the lockdown-breaking parties
- The lockdown breakers
Amazing that you could look at these numbers and think the answer is "political indoctrination" rather than 20 years of stagnant wages; rapid cost of living rises; mortgages going through the roof; and any number of public service failings.
I realise this is simplistic.
But encapsulated in this scene, is everything that a lot of people think the Tories are. As a piece of PR it’s such a disastrous vignette.
Classless , braying, arrogant, emotionally detached and stupid, and the least cool people in the country.
Leaked footage shows lockdown-breaking party at Conservative Party Headquarters, attended by two figures included on Boris Johnson's resignation honours

The problem with this argument is that an interest rate of 10% in the 1970s is equivalent to one of just *2%* today.
House prices are 65 times higher now than in 1970, average wages are only 35 times higher. https://t.co/wAYtumiRfG
Good Morning 🤍

So Steve @BrineMP, with a constituency majority of just 985 (ouch), it seems you're wrong quite a lot of the time ⏬
I've had a thought. £245,000 for lawyers to defend Johnson against Privileges Committee
If Tories think we should pay, how about they club together & pay the bill themselves?
352 Tory MPs so about £700 each.
Or give Michelle Mone a ring & ask her instead? https://t.co/dpvZwhahop
