This is well done and educational. NET has done well as a primary sorting tool. Selection continues to correlate more to results-based metrics (SOR, KPI), but having multiple metrics on the team sheets has increased consistency and is something other sports can learn from.

Part of the algorithm we are using to model opponent rotations in football is designed to minimize the chance of 3 or more undefeated teams. It's not feasible to prevent it in all cases, but these "triangle" groupings are part of the considerations and penalties.

FSU, UNC and Louisville are all undefeated in league play, and none of them play each other.

The Big Sky and the Summit are starting a 3-year Challenge series this season, source told @Stadium. Each team will get one home and one road game and games will be played in early January. Matchups should be set in next few weeks.
