@Marcus_Mosher Even better as it is with Verse. The top of the draft is still a projection but Verse has proven to be worth it
I think it's a fine deal for both sides
@Marcus_Mosher@McCoolBCB Marcus, what makes you most optimistic about this season and the Cowboys chances to win the division?
Landon, same question but for pessimism
@NickHarrisFWST@startelegram Hypothetically, would you trade 3 first round picks to get a HoF caliber defensive player for this team? Like a DE, for example. Would it make them an immediate contender in the NFC?
@JohnOwning Do you think he plays on the field or see it more as a vet who knows the system and can help with implementation and spot time if there's injuries?
@Marcus_Mosher@McCoolBCB Rack & Stack NFC East teams in order of who improved (or got worse) the most during this offseason thus far. Go ahead and assume AJ Brown is gone as well
@JoeJHoyt Winters is now our 1 reliable LB though and he's solid, but not quite a plus player. Seems like at least 1 more adult should be added to the room and an impact player would be great
Can't imagine he costs too much with Miami taking 2 LBs in the draft
@Marcus_Mosher I get the Lawrence consensus in a draft agnostic approach, but I really feel like he needed to go to a situation exactly like Dallas to maximize his strengths at wide-9 and minimize the weaknesses in the run game with the DTs amd schematic help
@Marcus_Mosher Defense has been transformed. Takes time to adjust to a new scheme, but it has the chance to jump up to average in one offseason. Can't be mad at that
Should be easier now to fill some remaining spots via FA and vet trades
