Life is not a Hollywood movie. He will rot in prison. I respect cattle bandits & robbers than a man who can murder 5 year old kids because he doesn’t want to buy them storybooks & sweets.
@martynziegler Pre match show, first half hydration break, half time show, second half hydration break and closing show. Any football going to be played?
Sure. My point is, he had a solid foundation for a run for presidency. It was easy for people to imagine him as president. Does Gachagua have the same? Genuine question. We remember his stint as DP, where he didn't particularly handle power well. He's also only a one-term MP
Uhuru had the Kenyatta name recognition plus an uncanny resemblance to his father (and his father's booming voice too). He was also the serving Deputy PM, CS Finance, had been Leader of the Official Opposition and had already run for president before. Not comparable at all
Uhuru was at 4% in 2011. He was at 20% in mid 2012. In fact I remember that everyone in Kiambu was pissed off when, on 2nd December of 2012, Uhuru refused to back the preferred candidate then: Mudavadi. This was a mere 5 months to the 2013 election and he was polling at 24%.
Mr. Ahmednassir, it is not politicians who decide here. It is the people who do.
Now personally, I am not pro-Gachagua, though I have become sympathetic to his mission (plus he is a solid man). But if the people decide it is him, he will sniff the mid-30s%. Overnight.
In any case, no serious presidential candidate is spending his own money on his campaign. It's stupid, and you'll go broke. You provide seed money kidogo but most of the kitty is covered by fundraising. Ruto like Uhuru, RAO etc will not use personal fortune for campaigns
@Otulala001 Even if they were only interested in buying and flipping. Get good players, you can sell them for more. Like how much is Kvara worth now? Olise? They would’ve 2-3x their initial investment. Instead they buy bums they make small losses/profit on or are just stuck with 😂
Chelsea Football Club is today mourning the passing of former chairman Ken Bates.
The club sends our heartfelt condolences to Ken’s wife Suzannah, the rest of his family and his friends.
Ken’s determination to fight for Chelsea when times were tough, and drive the team on to winning trophies will never be forgotten.
Rest in peace, Ken.
Hopefully 2032 we'll have issue based politics and not this personality based stuff we have now. If you ask his supporters why they support him, they have no real reason. No vision, no philosophy. He just weaponised his impeachment and now has millions of supporters lol
