In hindsight, and foresight, this wasn't a great decision.

I propose we take ERCOT and have HEB run it. Make it HERBCOT.

[Kevin Johnson @Kevinj90825]

@UTAustin There's no way you're open on Thursday, right? Severe winter storm warning until 6am Thursday and most still don't have power or water.

[Kevin Johnson @Kevinj90825]

@MikeMeyers @KVUE @austinenergy I was just listening to the press conference and it doesn't sound like it'll get better until the weather improves. They said it's unlikely to happen tonight for most customers at least.

Weather, more generation outages last night bring load shed to 18,500 MW. For today…generators to return, renewable output to increase = increased customer restoration.

Dystopian Life Pro Tip: If you have hot water but not electricity due to a historic winter storm, mason jars filled with hot water are surprisingly good heaters if you put them under some blankets.

@KaelinHooper It would be cool to see how the genres or topics you listen to change over time. There might be similarities within the year as well as particular seasons across years. Lots of data for recommendations!

@galendruke How much of Biden's rise in the forecast is due to the recent favorable polls versus just getting closer to the election?

[Kevin Johnson @Kevinj90825]

Frustrating, to say the least. Glad I'm voting early and working as a poll worker in Travis County.

Anyone have friends relocating out of SF, LA, NY, Seattle, CHI or other cities because they're newly remote?

We're working on a new app and would love to chat with them 😎

@patorrezlaw I was listening to SIO 249 about about the Florida House Race... it looks like he lost his Republican primary. Is there an update here or it's still just hope the other person wins?
