I'm just giving this some low effort thought, wouldn't everyone be better off if instead of forcing businesses to increase their expenses by paying staff more, forcing them to raise prices on there services or products, the government could give the lowest earning workers a tax break.

Wouldn't this be a massive win for the economy, workers, and encouraging young people to work more?

Why lie?

I rent, this is fantastic news.

If rents go up people move out.
It's at the point already that if rents go up any further a 3 bedroom home will need 6 people to cover the rent.

That's a lot of people living in that home, the wear and tear is doubled, the costs on the land owner go up, they may need to sell.

To many homes on the market drive prices down more. Therefore more people can afford to buy.

If things keep going the way they are going, ON takes government, reducing immigration, further pushing housing demand down and demand on rentals, we may bring prices back to a sensible level.

We DON'T need investors for rental properties!
