My biggest flex is that after the breakup, I never looked for someone else to fill the space they left behind. I chose to sit with the pain instead of running from it. No rebounds, no distractions just time, growth, and learning how to be alone again. Solitude taught me that healing doesn’t come from finding another person; it comes from finding yourself again.
I packed my shit and left that nigga when nobody in my circle thought I had the heart to do it. Everybody had me figured out like I was gon stay stuck, keep making excuses, keep pretending it was fine. I still walked out. No long speech, no extra chances, just me choosing myself for once. Now I’m on the other side of it looking back like damn… anything really is possible when you finally get tired of your own limits.
Someone said: You really can’t scare off a guy who’s genuinely into you, you could literally throw a rock at him and he’d still be like, “damn, she must’ve had a rough day."
