A bridge to nowhere!

Wakad - Balewadi bridge was first proposed in 2013! In 2019 the main concrete and steel bridge structure was completed.

However, the bridge never opened for public because PMC failed to acquire 200-300 meters of private land for the Balewadi side approach road.

This is the current condition of Mhalunge Hitech city launched by @Dev_Fadnavis sir in 2018. Even after 9 years of its inauguration, this area neither has roads nor water/electricity. This areas was conceptualised as Township with proper Central Business District. What happened to this project sir?

One more, Balewadi-Wakad bridge which is ready since 2018 but unusable because approach road from Balewadi side isn’t acquired by Pune Municipal Corporation yet.
This Bridge connects IT hub of Balewadi-Baner with emerging IT hub of Wakad in PCMC.

Balewadi hosts large scale GCC’s from Global Giants such as Siemens, Cummins, Nutanix, Tsystem, Cohesity, Palo Alto Networks, Thyssenkrup, Rockwell Automation.

Wakad hosts large scale GCC’s from Giants such as Metlife, Boston Scientific, Magnum, etc and emerging as a strong GCC corridor. But what about pending roads? How will employees travel?

Why this road is still incomplete when lacs of IT/GCC employees are dependent on this bridge to travel to and fro PMC & PCMC. What message we are passing to large corporates that we can’t build simple roads for more than a decade? @kdhavse

Could we kindly get an update from PMC regarding the incomplete bridge connecting Balewadi and Kaspate Vasti (PCMC)?

Once this bridge becomes operational, along with the Mula River service road bridge, it has the potential to significantly ease traffic congestion on the Mumbai–Bengaluru Highway. Thousands of commuters travelling from PCMC to Baner, Balewadi, and Hinjawadi IT Park would be able to use this alternate route, reducing pressure on the highway and improving daily commute times.

As discussed in the last meeting with Hon. CM Sir, we understand that the project was to be expedited through the mandatory land acquisition provisions, with directions issued to the PMC Commissioner.

🙏 We request PMC to kindly share the current status and expected timeline for completion. This bridge is a critical infrastructure project for lakhs of daily commuters.

Mobikwik has recently made changes to the UI of mobikwik xtra dashboard and its calculation.

Earlier , they were showing Principal repaid and principal outstanding seperately in the dashboard bit recently after lot of people outraged and FIRs and court case against them, they desperately changed their ui to remove the Principal outstanding block from the calculation and instead for this they introduced Lifetime received, Lifetime deposited and concept of Absolute net returns % for which on official production app - they are calculating it as

Absolute net return = (Lifetime received + Lifetime deposited - 1) * 100

literally they just calculateed the ANR % by basic addition, subtraction & multiplication
and there is no division wrto to which they are calculating the return for ANR.

They are hardcore data manipulators and when they say that they have calculated every borrower mapping report, deposits, escrow accounts etc , they are just lying because a company which can't even do basic percentage calculation is surely incompetent to run a fin-tech company.

And interestingly this formula is on Mobikwik xtra dashboard for about a month now so its not placed by mistake.

With more than 50-60k IT employees working in this area and more than a lakh citizens face these poor civic infrastructure.

Broken footpaths , shady places and now open urination center near Highstreet opposite CM international school .
