“Truth; that long clean clear simple undeniable unchallengeable straight and shining line, on one side of which black is black and on the other white is white, has now become an angle, a point of view.”
William Faulkner
@simongerman600 Montana became just the latest western state for disaffected overtaxed and overregulated Californians to move to in search of outdoor beauty.
After Mass, it was a joy to interact with our parishioners. The exit procession was filled with great happiness and warmth.
We extend our sincere thanks to Fr. Robert Carlton from the Archdiocese of Chicago, a board member of https://t.co/EPr7F94Bqd, for visiting our parish to appreciate the projects - which are largely funded by our American friends.
Remote work has serious social consequences
-84% of remote workers spend their workday entirely alone
-Over half report feeling less connected to their colleagues.
Even when communicating online, people working from home receive less feedback from their co-workers and contact fewer people outside their immediate teams.
he office has been the No. 1 place adults form friendships, outranking houses of worship, children’s schools, neighborhoods and sports teams. Forming and sustaining these friendships almost always requires in-person time:
Our brains are wired to connect face-to-face, and even the most advanced digital tools are a poor substitute. To maintain this critical source of connection, workers need doses of in-person time with one another.

💧 Clean water is flowing in Chibekete Village, Malawi — today. The Chibekete Village well was successfully drilled on June 13, 2026, with good water flow confirmed. For the 400+ residents of this community, including patients and staff at the village medical health outpost, this changes everything.
Until today, the only water source for this entire community was a shallow, muddy pit on an eroded hillside. Families had to crouch down to scoop murky water into buckets and containers, sharing the source with livestock and wild animals. The risk of cholera and waterborne disease was severe. The medical health outpost, where the sick came for care, had no access to clean water for patient treatment. That's over.
This well was made possible by 13 generous donors. We are especially grateful to M.K., whose extraordinary generosity funded 80% of this entire well. Her compassion has helped transform an entire community, bringing clean water to 400+ people and to the health outpost that serves them. We are also deeply grateful to J.P. from Germany, whose remarkable commitment to Water of Mercy now spans 38 donations across 14 village well projects. And to the members of @fr_petros and Father Edmond's daily Rosary group who gave to this well and to so many before it: your faithfulness shows up village after village.
Pump installation is coming soon. More updates to follow. 💙
Thank you to our 13 generous donors and to @fr_petros for his tireless work on the ground in Malawi. 🙏

Our parishioners at the newly established St. Martin de Porres Parish joyfully presented a gift of parish cloth and a goat to Fr. Sabelo from the Diocese of Eshowe in South Africa and Fr. Robert Carlton from the Archdiocese of Chicago, USA, as a gesture of welcome during Mass. It is our tradition to welcome visitors in this way. The two priests came to appreciate the projects we are undertaking, supported through X and https://t.co/KgRjzpRpFm. We warmly invite you to visit our new parish. Is this not amazing?

The West has created an utterly evil state religion where an accusation of “racism” is the gravest offense that can be committed, even worse than rape or murder!
So if police show up at a crime scene and a British boy is bleeding out and an immigrant says the British boy is racist the cops will cuff the dying British boy.
A man crashed a stolen car outside St. Joseph Shrine. Then he bolted.
The Rector heard the crash and someone yelled "stop him."
So Rev. Jean-Baptiste Commins — in full cassock — tackled him, and held him until the police came.
Never underestimate a priest in a cassock.
