@pearce_dastur @talkSPORT Exactly this as a fan I only watch other teams 20-30% of the time but watch my team all time not enough to fairly compare other players
@GreatBritishMC Fans really said it was a bad move for his career.. Financially free for life plus gets holidays instead international duty where he’s not getting ahead of Kane anyway 😂
@InvertTheWing What’s the obsession with 17 old byfield.. he’s a talent yes but don’t think he’s ready to play cb in the prem he’s not big a and he’s not aggressive enough to play undersized.
@DoctorKos6@FabrizioRomano@WeAreTheOverlap Neither had hit double figures in goals or assists on top of that Solanke had a break out season at Bourmouth scoring 20+ goals.. as said it’s easy to drop them names now but don’t see how they were targets back then.. bare in mind utd and city were not looking at them then
@DoctorKos6@FabrizioRomano@WeAreTheOverlap I follow the team closely… That season we still had Son and Deki playing left and right we had already bought Johnson and he agreed extending the Werner loan… at that point Semenyo 1 full season in the prem and mbeumo 2 full seasons in the prem were hardly proven players
@FabrizioRomano@WeAreTheOverlap Semenyo/mbeumo were both on roughly 50k at the time… these were players in our reach. Ange can’t use wage structure as an excuse for this..
@FabrizioRomano@WeAreTheOverlap I don’t agree with Ange here. It’s easy to name-drop Semenyo and Mbeumo after breakout seasons, but two years ago we wouldn’t have had to smash our wage structure for them. That’s hindsight, not reality.
