وبينما سيدنا بـلال يؤذن لصلاة الظهر كان أبو محـذورة المشرك يؤذن لغنمه بصوته الجميل ليستهزئ بالمسلمين.

فأقسم أبو محذورة من يومها ألا يحلق شعر رأسه الذي وضع النبي ﷺ يده الشريفة عليه وقال : « ما كنت لأحلق شعرًا مسح عليه رسول الله ﷺ ودعا عليه بالبركة ».وظلت ذرية أبي محذورة يؤذنون قرابة الـ ٣٠٠ عام، بفضل دعاء النبي ﷺ له ولذريته، وكانوا أصحاب حنجرة ذهبية ربانية.
