When Armstrong Panmei constructed 100km road, he was celebrated as hero. When the Kuki people built a crucial bridge linking Tengnoupal, Chandel & Churachandpur after years of government neglect, it suddenly labelled "illegal" by @republic.

A man is inciting violence, urging Nagas in Imphal to instigate an attack on RIMS
Hospital, demanding that injured Kuki patients be denied treatment&prevented from leaving alive.
This is direct violation of human rights. Patients must be shifted immediately to ensure their safety.
Today in Leilon Vaiphei, a Kuki ancestral village, innocent Kuki Village Volunteers were reportedly searched and repeatedly fired upon. Kuki civilian women were also reportedly fired upon, forcing many civilians to flee in fear. Several houses and gates were allegedly broken open using knives, guns, and other means during the operation, creating fear and panic among innocent villagers.
Meanwhile, Konsaram Khullen and other Liangmai villages were allegedly ignored despite the continued activities of NSCN-IM, ZUF-K, Kamson Group and others who have been involved in attacks against Kuki ancestral villages. The Kuki Community questions why full-scale operations are not conducted against those responsible for such attacks.
Whenever Central Forces move in certain areas, Tangkhul women, Liangmai women, and Meira Paibis reportedly block their movements, yet no action is taken. Is the COBRA Team and Central Forces only strong when targeting Kuki civilians in Leilon Vaiphei and surrounding areas of Ukhrul and Kamjong districts?
The manner in which the Central Forces and BJP Government have treated the Kuki Community is deeply shocking. When Junta Military, Shan National Army, NSCN Eastern Flank and other armed groups allegedly burn down Kuki ancestral villages along the border, there is little visible response from the Government and security agencies.
We, the Kuki Community, demand justice and equal treatment. The way COBRA Team and Central Forces have treated our people is seen as treating the Kuki Community like a terrorist group. We demand strict action against those responsible and call for fairness, accountability, and protection of innocent civilians.

Disturbing reports from Henglep Sub-Division, CRPF (Cobra) opened fire and used explosives against village volunteers on guard duty near Songkong village, Dated: 16-06-2026, resulting in the death of Mr Lenminsang of Kolchung village. Reports further claim that his body was taken away, raising serious concerns about an attempted cover up and the possibility of a fake encounter narrative. These allegations cannot be ignored. A transparent, independent investigation must be conducted immediately, and anyone found responsible must be held accountable. Justice for Lenminsang!!

Lasan Kuki Village in Tamenglong has come under fresh attack from NSCN-IM and ZUF-Kamson renegades once again. This attack comes just 3 days after the killing of (L) Haogin Lhouvum of Lasan while he was working in his field by the same group.
These repeated assaults demonstrate the incompetence of @manipur_police in protecting civilian lives and reflect a complete breakdown of law and order in Manipur. The continued hostilities and the shift of violence from the Manipur Valley to the hills, while repeatedly victimizing the same Kuki-Zo community, indicate that the initiators of the ethnic cleansing campaign against the Kukis, the Meitei extremists, have worked hand in glove with Tangkhul actors and their minions, who entered the conflict following a petty drunken brawl at Litan-Sareikhong.
It also reflects the failure of the government installed by @BJP4India after expiry of the President Rule imposed in Manipur. Its continued existence is nothing but a political facade. At this stage, President's Rule under @rashtrapatibhvn remains the only constitutional mechanism capable of governing the troubled state and restoring law and order, prior to installation of Separate Administration for Kuki and Meitei-Kacha Naga.

KANGPOKPI, June 13, 2026 — A Kuki-Zo Village Volunteer, Mr. Jangngam Hangshing, 39, of Lhouthang Village, Kangpokpi District, was killed on June 13 during a firing incident in the Lasan-Langka area of Sadar Hills, Manipur.
According to an incident report, a heavy exchange of fire occurred between approximately 8:00 AM and 8:40 AM on the fringes of the Lasan Hill Ranges. The report stated the exchange involved NSCN-IM, ZUF-K, and Meitei militants, including members of Arambai Tenggol on one side, and Kuki-Zo Village Volunteers on the other. Mr. Hangshing was reported killed at around 8:40 AM during the exchange. The incident occurred in the vicinity of Lasan, where an earlier incident had claimed the life of a local farmer, Mr. Haogin Lhouvum.
The Kuki Students’ Organisation, Twilang Block, issued a press condemnation expressing sorrow and condemnation over Mr. Hangshing’s death. The organization stated he was “gunned down” at approximately 8:40 AM while performing “sensitisation, security, and vigilance duties” near Lasan Kuki-Zo Village. KSO-TB alleged the act was an “ambush allegedly perpetrated by heavily armed cadres of NSCN-IM and ZUF (Kamson)”. The student body called the act “heinous and cold-blooded” and demanded authorities identify, apprehend, and prosecute those involved. KSO-TB also extended condolences to the bereaved family.

STRONG CONDEMNATION OF THE ATTACK ON LASAN VILLAGE
Today morning, Lasan Village once again came under attack, allegedly by NSCN Eastern Flank, ZUF Kamson Group, Arambai Tenggol, Myanmar-based Meitei militants, Shan National Army elements, and junta-backed armed groups operating along the Indo-Myanmar border. We strongly condemn this act of aggression and the continued targeting of Kuki villages.
The repeated attacks on Kuki settlements are deeply disturbing and raise serious concerns about the safety and security of innocent civilians living in the border areas. The people of Lasan Village, like every citizen of India, deserve protection, peace, and the right to live without fear of armed violence. Yet attacks continue while vulnerable villages remain exposed to threats from heavily armed groups.
The alleged presence and movement of foreign-based armed elements crossing into Indian territory is a matter of grave concern. Any militant activity, cross-border infiltration, or coordinated assault against civilian populations must be treated as a serious threat to national security. The continued violence not only endangers local communities but also undermines peace and stability throughout the region.
We call upon the Government of India, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Indian Army, Assam Rifles, and all concerned security agencies to take immediate action to protect civilians, secure the border, investigate the perpetrators, and ensure accountability for those responsible for these attacks. Silence and inaction will only embolden those who continue to use violence against innocent people.
The aggressions against Kuki villages must stop. Peace cannot be achieved while armed groups continue to attack civilians with impunity. Justice, security, and the rule of law must prevail, and every effort must be made to ensure that such attacks never happen again.

At least two members of the Kuki community have been killed in a fresh attack in India’s Manipur state, where ethnic violence, kidnappings and retaliatory clashes continue to fuel instability and displacement.
The Kuki Community strongly condemns the statement made by MP Bimol before the media, where he appeared to blame the Kuki Community for the killing of six Kacha Naga individuals without any verified investigation or official findings.
We would like to clarify that when NSCN (Eastern Flank), NSCN-IM, ZUF Kamson Group, Arambai Tenggol, Myanmar-based Meitei militants, Shan National Army, and Junta military elements allegedly crossed the international border, attacked and burned Kuki ancestral villages, and killed innocent Kuki civilians, MP Bimol remained silent. Yet, in the case of the six Kacha Naga deaths, where the perpetrators have not been officially identified, fingers are immediately pointed at the Kuki Community. Such statements are irresponsible and pose a direct threat to the safety and dignity of the Kuki people.
When Kuki villages came under attack and homes were burned, and when innocent Kuki civilians were killed in different areas, including Ukhrul, there was no similar concern or condemnation. The Kuki Community believes that every incident must be investigated impartially and that no community should be blamed without evidence.
We are a peace-loving people and continue to seek peace, justice, and coexistence. However, the Kuki tribes — Thadou, Paite, Hmar, Zou, Vaiphei, Gangte, Simte, Guite, Kom, Chiru, Aimol, Chothe, Kharam, Anal, Lamkang, Monsang, Moyon, and other Old Kuki tribes — will not remain mute spectators if our ancestral lands, villages, and innocent civilians continue to come under attack.
Justice must be based on facts, not assumptions.

I strongly condemn the pre-dawn attack on Kultuh Kuki village, Kamjong District, allegedly by armed NSCN-IM (EF) terrorists, which resulted in the killing of the village Church Deacon and Youth Leader, as well as the burning of multiple houses.
My deepest condolences to the bereaved families and the Kultuh Villagers during this hour of grief.
I urge the government to immediately deploy security forces to all vulnerable Kuki villages in Kamjong and Ukhrul Districts. I also call for adequate compensation and rehabilitation for the families of the deceased and for residents whose homes were burned down this morning.
Atleast 12 Kuki lives reportedly lost over the past four months in separate incidents involving Naga militant groups.
