WSJ reports World Liberty Financial partnered with a crypto venture tied to individuals later sanctioned by the US in a scam-ring probe involving alleged fraud networks and criminal syndicates.

The partnership (framed as a “tech integration”) happened around the same time sanctions were imposed, raising major due diligence questions.
