The Maharashtra Food & Drug Administration (FDA) has suspended the food-business licences of four Domino’s Pizza outlets operated by Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd. following inspections that found multiple food-safety and hygiene violations.

The affected outlets are in Vile Parle West, Borivali West and R-City Mall, Ghatkopar, Mumbai, and Malakapour, Karad, Satara. Reported deficiencies included inadequate hygiene and sanitation, pest-control issues, improper food storage and temperature monitoring, lack of segregation between raw and ready-to-eat foods, and incomplete food-safety records.

The action was taken under the Food Safety and Standards (Licensing and Registration of Food Businesses) Regulations, 2011.

#Students protesting alleged irregularities in Jharkhand’s #JPSC and #JSSC recruitment examinations were lathi-charged by police after they breached multiple layers of barricading and moved closer to the #Jharkhand Vidhan Sabha in Ranchi on Monday. Police had earlier used water cannons to stop the protesters from advancing.

The students have been protesting for days, demanding action over alleged irregularities in recruitment examinations, including a CBI probe and cancellation of exams they allege were compromised. Monday’s Vidhan Sabha gherao march saw thousands of aspirants from across Jharkhand gather outside the Assembly.
