@SonofChurchill@abdulafandii Islam gives a whole way of life in every direction that competes western secularism:
- Socially.
- Economically.
- Politically.
- Ethically.
@SonofChurchill@abdulafandii The first of these factors and the most important one is that Islam has its own principles and teachings, judging them by western secularism doesn’t make sense.
Islam isn’t bound by western secularism like how every other religion is now including Christianity.
@SonofChurchill@abdulafandii Christianity is only looks in your societies, you don’t govern your country with it. One example is that your judicial systems are all secular and not Christian.
On the contrary, many Muslim countries including my country have an Islamic judicial system to this day and age.
@SonofChurchill@abdulafandii That said, this does not hold uniformly across every era. Adulthood rests on two pillars: puberty and psychological maturity. In the Prophet's time, both arrived together; today, the young reach puberty but not that same maturity — because the conditions of life have changed.
@SonofChurchill@abdulafandii The psychological makeup of people has shifted along with it. In the past, the young reached a maturity closer to what we would only expect from a full-grown adult today.
