Another extrajudicial execution filmed on video by #SDF fighters emerged tonight, as 2 Arab men were shot dead in rural #Hasakeh after being charged with loyalty to Ahmed al-Sharaa ("al-Jolani").

More than twenty civilians were killed in cold blood in a documented crime that has shaken the human conscience.

Militias affiliated with the Kurdistan Workers’ Terrorist’s Party (PKK) openly boast about killing Arab civilians in the Arab villages surrounding Ain al-Arab, in a blatant violation of all humanitarian laws and norms.
The crime was documented through “selfie” photos taken with the victims’ bodies, reflecting an unprecedented level of brutality and complete disregard for human life.

Despite the clarity of the evidence, yellow media pages and those who claim to be “activists” and “human rights defenders” have maintained a suspicious silence regarding the massacre of 21 civilians, ignoring the suffering of the victims and their families.

This crime was not an isolated incident. Only days earlier, a massacre occurred inside the prisons of al-Tabqa before they were evacuated by the terrorist SDF organization. In addition, other horrifying videos have surfaced documenting serious violations against Arab civilians.

This terrorist group does not limit its crimes to Syria. It has supporters across the world who are now engaging in vandalism in European cities and attacking Arabs even outside Syria.
From the forced recruitment of underage girls, to killing based on ethnic identity, and the occupation of mosques and Assyrian churches, these violations represent a systematic pattern that cannot be justified or ignored.

How long will these crimes continue to be committed in full view of the world without any serious action or accountability?

The United States commends the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) for their constructive efforts in reaching today’s ceasefire agreement, paving the way for renewed dialogue and cooperation toward a unified Syria.

Two great Syrian leaders, driven by the shared vision of liberating their country and people from tyranny, have now come together to forge a brighter future for all Syrians. This agreement and ceasefire represent a pivotal inflection point, where former adversaries embrace partnership over division.

President al-Sharaa has affirmed that the Kurds are an integral part of Syria, and the United States looks forward to the seamless integration of our historic partner in the fight against ISIS with the Global Coalition’s newest member, as we press forward in the enduring battle against terrorism.

The challenging work of finalizing the details of a comprehensive integration agreement begins now, and the United States stands firmly behind this process at every stage—as we safeguard our vital national security interests in defeating ISIS remnants and advance President Trump’s bold Middle East Peace Plan.

The United States is particularly encouraged by this sustained drive to counter ISIS threats, which will facilitate our long-term Kurdish partners’ full onboarding into a united, inclusive Syria that safeguards the interests and rights of all its citizens—while advancing shared goals of reconciliation and national unity by merging the distinct lanes of interest into one cohesive path forward.
