BBC Exclusive : The income of 6 small Gujarat based political parties exceeded that of national political parties (excluding BJP) in 2023-2024 (before the last Lok Sabha elections). The BBC team found that these parties received donations amounting to hundreds of crores, which in some cases exceeded those of national parties.
However, these parties largely remained absent from electoral politics.

लोकसभा चुनाव 2024 के दौरान कांग्रेस पार्टी का खाता सीज कर दिया गया था।

उसी चुनाव के दौरान एक गुमनाम 'आम जनमत पार्टी' को 620 करोड़ रुपए का चंदा म‍िला। पार्टी ने सिर्फ एक प्रत्याशी उतारा था।

ऐसी आधा दर्जन पार्टियां हैं जिनको 5 राष्ट्रीय पार्टियों से ज्यादा चंदा मिल गया। ऐसी 6 फर्जी पार्टियों को कुल 1700 करोड़ का चंदा मिला।

ये कौन पार्टियां हैं? इन्हें कौन चलाता है? ये कहां चुनाव लड़ती हैं? इनको चंदा किसने दिया? कांग्रेस का खाता सीज करने वाली एजेंसियों ने इनकी जांच क्यों नहीं की?

He further claims that Kapil Mishra’s intervention shielded him from police action, and asserts that not only Kapil Mishra but even Chirag Paswan is like an elder brother to him.

If someone can assault a citizen, openly boast about it, and flaunt political connections as protection from the law, what does that say about Delhi’s policing?

What does it say about the safety of ordinary citizens across Delhi-NCR?

This lawlessness is unfolding right under Amit Shah’s nose. That's why he is unworthy of the chair he occupies.

What are these horrifying visuals coming out of a Delhi police station?

Women journalists being beaten and thrashed for asking questions about the Delhi CM.

And when the police allegedly discovered that one of these journalists was Muslim, the assault intensified.
