@rishabhm Not every 12th student give jee, that's jee rank ,15000 rank means ~top 10-15 percentile you can't even get a decent branch in lower iits at that rank if you are a GC. IIT Bombay closes at 4-5K rank for GC students. And also gap between 5k and 15k is good enough.

@satishv1987 Jee mains cutoff for sc/st categories are 64/52 percentile, many have passed with below 90 percentile how does that make them better than 90% non IITians . If you had given JEE you would have known getting above 50 percentile is not a tough task.
