@7StarMike My criteria is that I always enter a position based on a combination of strong options flow AND a high probability chart setup. AND I always exit only on price reaching important resistance on the chart.

@7StarMike Hey Mike… thanks for posing an important question and sharing your perspective. I also have been thinking about how long to let winners run. Right now, if price is approaching strong overhead support, I close the position, often for a 40% to 80% gain.

@7StarMike Since we cannot know whether any single trade will be a successful or not (even if it high probability), my trading style incorporates entering a series of trades, which leads to strong gains over the series, even if a small percentage of them do not work out.

@7StarMike I know that I COULD leave on runner, but at this time, I don’t. However, my thinking is that in this kind of bull market, high probability flow essentially daily (and multiple times per day), so I can enter new positions that are high probability winners.
