One infant, Themneikim D/O Lunminthang and Kimmeihat of Songjang Pakang Village, passed away due to the blockade of the IT Road by Naga groups.
The infant's parents were unable to take her to Kangpokpi District Hospital in time.

A Kuki farmer, Haogin Louvum (55), was shot dead around 11:30 AM on June 9, 2026, at Lansan Kuki village, Tamei PS, Tamenglong district. Armed miscreants opened fire on cultivators working along the Imphal-Tamenglong road.
