An agreement must be honoured. A reward system must be fair.
#5DayWeekandFairPLI
The 5 Day Work Week for bank employees was agreed in the Bipartite Settlement of March 2024. Its implementation cannot remain pending indefinitely.
At the same time, a unilateral and discriminatory PLI framework that divides the workforce must give way to a fair, transparent and inclusive system for all employees.
Every achievement of our banks is the outcome of collective effort.
Recognition too must reflect that collective contribution.
We seek no privilege, only implementation of an agreed commitment, equality in reward and dignity at work.
@PMOIndia
Policy makers talk about productivity while forcing burnout on bank employees. Hypocrisy won’t run a modern economy. Act with responsibility. Approve the 5-day banking week.
#Approve5DayBankingNow
A 5-day banking week would improve work-life balance for employees and enhance overall productivity in the banking sector. #Implement5DayBanking https://t.co/RVme1XeSRU
A rested workforce serves the public better. With staff shortages and rising stress, 5-day banking is a service-quality issue, not a “perk.” UFBU has pursued this since 2015; IBA has recommended it to the Government (MoU 07-12-2023), and it’s included in the 12th Bipartite/9th Joint Note (08-03-2024), pending clearances.
Let’s finish what’s already agreed.

Public Sector Banks drive India’s inclusive growth, yet bankers face unfair conditions.
We demand:
✅ Adequate recruitment & regularization of temporary staff
✅ A 5-day work week for bankers
✅ Safety & dignity at workplaces
✅ Opposing outsourcing
✅opposing micromanagement & unfair labour practice by DFS and other justified demands.
Strengthening PSBs is strengthening India’s economic justice. We stand against unfair labour practices & demand dignity for those who serve the nation.
Stand with UFBU's fight for a stronger banking sector.
#UnitedWeStand
Thank you, Hon’ble Prime Minister, for your appreciation of PSU Banks. The employees and officers in public sector banks are dedicatedly serving the citizens of this country 24/7, despite facing staff shortages and numerous workplace challenges. The employee-to-customer ratio in private banks is significantly higher compared to public sector banks.
To secure better working conditions for public sector bankers, an agreement was reached between the IBA and Banking Unions and Associations on 8th March 2024 to introduce a ‘5-day work week’ in banks. We kindly request your esteemed office to intervene and officially declare a ‘5-day work week’ for the banking sector. This will help reduce stress and fatigue thereby improving the productivity of bank employees and enabling them to serve the fellow citizens with renewed enthusiasm.
In the realm where duty calls, we stand,
Negotiating, our charge so grand.
Falsehoods veiled, we choose to withhold, Trade unions' growth, our story unfolds.
Barred from entry, yet tales they weave,
Baseless stories, they endlessly conceive.
Three hundred thousand, a force so vast, In negotiations, we hold steadfast.
Members' benefits, our guiding light,
Rigorously we negotiate, with all our might.
No spectacle for the public gaze,
In silence, we tread through intricate maze.
Success for you, the prize that we pursue,
In unity, strength, and purpose true.
A victory destined, a tale well-spun,
In the realm of negotiations, we have won.

The worst crime yet.He was made to run in public, was tortured and he succumbed to death while the mob were chanting. The meiteis as a community should re-evaluate their moral principles and humanity.Damn your barbaric monstrous evil cult community. #SeparateAdministration4KukiZo
Gold for the incredible Neeraj Chopra but don’t forget a big shout out for our 4x 400 metre relay team that finished a highly creditable 5th! The runners may practise different faiths but bound together by being INDIAN! Salute a Rajesh Ramesh, Muhammed Ajmal, Amoj Jacob and Muhammad Anas! Take a bow guys! When we build bridges like sports does and not walls like many netas do, the power of India can be truly realised ⭐️ 🇮🇳Jai Hind!
The Meitei media in Imphal has been actively using an ethnography report by a British officer to claim that the Meitei community was officially classified as a tribe. However, in the same report, on Page 152, the population of the Kuki tribe is listed as 67,200, while the Meitei population is listed as 69,400, resulting in a small difference of only 2,200. This raises concerns about how the Meitei population's share in the overall population could have increased almost fourfold according to the 2011 census. It is unfair and unjust to suggest that Meitei women are solely responsible for this population increase or that Meiteis are illegally migrating from foreign countries to Manipur.
It is important for the Meitei politicians and media to be transparent about their intentions and refrain from spreading falsehoods and promoting animosity against the Kuki-Zo tribals. It is necessary to hold them accountable for their deliberate attempts to vilify the Kuki-Zo tribals. Failure to address such actions can perpetual.
Kuki-Zo tribals need separation from Meiteis. A Union Territory is essential for security. #ManipurHorror #MeiteiMeiraPaibisXposed #SaveKuki_ZoTribals
Our demand for separate administration stands strong and resolute. It is the only viable solution to protect our community, preserve our culture, and ensure lasting peace in Manipur. It's time for truth, justice, and a future free from falsehood.

Exposing Falsehoods
In response to the alleged claims and subsequent FIR report on the gang r@pe of a Meitei woman in Lamka on May 3, 2023, the Ngathal Village Authority (where the woman resides) and the Kuki Women Organization for Human Rights, Lamka District strongly refute these baseless claims.
This is part of the ongoing orchestrated campaigns by the Meitei community aimed at countering the #ManipurViralVideo /#ManipurHorrorVideo which exposed the horrifying ordeal of two Kuki-Zo women, one of whom being a mere teenager, subjected to a deplorable act of being paraded naked, tortured, molested, and ultimately gang r@ped at B. Phainom village on May 4, 2023.
It is vital to clarify that our women, instead of being victims, united in solidarity and formed a human chain at #Chiengkawnpang, Lamka on May 3 and 4, 2023. This collective effort by our women ensured the safe departure of Meiteis, including children, women, and men, from Lamka.
We must emphasize the importance of discerning fact from fiction, as the Meitei Community's attempts to manipulate the truth have caused significant distress and irreparable harm.

We will fight till our last breath against State-sponsored ethnic cleansing, against systematic discrimination, political and developmental oppression.
We will stand and fight till our last drop of blood against those who try to grab our ancestral lands, passed on by our forefathers since time immemorial.

The meitei created lies to cover-up their evil deeds. Meiteis need to wake up and realised that those filmy scripts won't work in real life event's.
