Austria tried to block the EU's latest sanctions package on Russia.

The reason: a Russian court had ordered Raiffeisen Bank to pay Eur 2bn ($2.2bn) to a Russian oligarch. Vienna wanted to unfreeze Russian state assets in Europe to cover the loss.

"That would allow the Russian court to truly apply in EU jurisdiction," B4Ukraine Executive Director Nezir Sinani told the annual conference in Kyiv. "A terrible precedent."
The frozen assets belong to Ukraine, Sinani said—not to companies that chose to stay in Moscow and now find themselves on the wrong side of a Russian ruling.

There are many confusing discussions on conditions for 🇷🇺🇺🇦 peace. On neutrality it should be remembered that 🇺🇦 had neutrality in its constitution when 🇷🇺 invaded in 2014. And 🇷🇺 had guaranteed its territorial integrity in Budapest memorandum in 1994 as well as other documents.
