@exum_john@EducationLaw2 Wow! Interesting suggestion, and you're right. What better way to teach our students to stand for what they believe in by allowing us to do the same. I'd be interested to see that. I just worry a walk out would be taken advantaged of by both parties. @EducationLaw2#educationlaw2
@katelynmoore78 @EducationLaw2 I also believe students should take a stand for what they believe in, and like you said in a professional manner so as not to harm anyone. @EducationLaw2#educationlaw2
@KatieBass18@EducationLaw2 If the parent is not committed they are putting their child at a disadvantage. Your evidence hits the nail on the head! Students have to have consistency. (my favorite word since being an educator and the best advice!)

@SamFarias934@EducationLaw2 THIS^ I have several college friends who were home schooled and are well educated. I have also seen parents pull their child from school and trust their middle school child to complete school work while they work away from home. That child isn't receiving an equivalent education.
@Tiffany12885917@EducationLaw2 There is no way an educator would ever say no to this philosophy. Our goal is to love, protect, and educate all of our babies.
@BoehmKelley@EducationLaw2 I cannot imagine having a child being turned down from an education because of a disability. It would only be a punishment to an innocent child.
@EducationLaw2 I support the zero-reject philosophy! Regardless of the severity of a disability, all students deserve the right to FAPE. What country would we be living in if we said otherwise? @EducationLaw2#educationlaw2
@EducationLaw2 I personally do not consider homeschooling "equivalent instruction" because the instruction- and instructors- are regulated much less than those in a public or private school. Obviously some parents do well, but some do not. Kids' education and social lives can suffer.
