The Ministry of Health recognizes and respects the important place of faith and spiritual nourishment in the lives of our people. However, matters of health and life must remain firmly grounded in science, ethics and evidence-based medicine.
Any claims of miraculous healing, especially by licensed medical practitioners, must be supported by verifiable, scientifically proven medical evidence. Unsubstantiated claims constitute medical misinformation and pose a direct threat to human life and public safety.
Accordingly, the Ministry has directed the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) to immediately investigate the medical professionals who publicly testified to such claims during a recent crusade. These practitioners must provide full clinical documentation and scientific proof.
Failure to do so will attract serious disciplinary action, including possible suspension or revocation of licenses for professional misconduct and violation of medical ethics.
The Ministry will not tolerate the misuse of medical authority to mislead the public, endanger patients or undermine trust in the healthcare system.
As long as the rogue Deputy Inspector General of Police Eliud K Lagat remains in office, no Kenyan is safe.
I speak not just as the Secretary-General KMPDU, but as a victim of the very brutality we now seek to end. During peaceful protests calling for better working conditions for healthcare workers, I was violently attacked, tear-gassed and dehumanized for simply demanding dignity for doctors and health for Kenyans.
This is what happens when lawlessness is condoned. When life is reduced to a statistic. When the police sworn to protect become perpetrators of impunity.
We cannot build a stable economy or a functioning nation on the blood of citizens. Silence is not peace, it is surrender. Kenyans deserve justice.
...BECAUSE THE FUEL FOR THE HUMAN SPIRIT IS ENCOURAGEMENT I SHALL BE APPRECIATING MY TEAM IN THE COMING POSTS AHEAD. HEY, WE NOTICE YOU...
Davji Bhimji Atellah Our Secretary General KMPDU

Today marks 1.5 years since we wrote our final paper in college. What in the world is more valuable than time? Looking at how this matter isn't being addressed with the urgency that it deserves, this may see us wait even longer. @HonAdenDuale@MOH_Kenya@psmuthoni post interns!!!
With the signing of a legal agreement between @MOH_Kenya and @kmpdu, medical internship was never again expected to be contentious.
Unfortunately,a year after graduation, these doctors stay home with no legal qualifications to practice, until when they don't know.

Kenya is the only country on earth where you struggle to get a plain A to study medicine for 7 years but still remain unemployed yet individuals who never went to school sit in Parliament and Cabinet and determine that education is not important.
The cartels at #MafiaHouse think we will get frustrated to the level of accepting anything less than CBA 2017. #KimtaiMuthoniMulongo we will not give up! We cannot allow you to bastardize our CBA! Wake up!
